Description
Drifter,a Canadian goose, is a cherished visitor here in Maine. This particular one was traversing the wetlands along the Androscoggin River in South Rumford,Maine; obviously he was enjoying the scenery while making his way to the mountains out yonder. A digital art rendition was created by utilizing several recent photographs through a combination of overlays and opacity adjustments, then reworking with textures and colors in Photoshop. The Canadian Honker, or goose, seemed to mimic the confusion felt on the day this piece was finally finished. Having enjoyed so many different interpretations internally I could certainly write a book on it, if only time permitted. In search of the truth would be just one to play out. As you ponder this work you may find many different roles for this charming feathered friend. He is big and bold, and he is heading your way. Copyright 2015 Michael D. Breau. All Rights Reserved
