Soul Mates is an attempt by Maine artist Mike Breau to understanding the influences that have been shared through the cultures of Africa,India,Jamaica,Cuba,and the Americas. It is a peace movement and has been pushed forward through a variety of music styles including Reggae by the infamous musician Bob Marley. The predominant colors are combinations of red, green and orange or yellow, and share those colors with the rise of visual arts perspectives relating to peace, harmony, and unity in an oftentimes disorientated world.
