One of the most treasured National Park destinations in America is Acadia National Park located on Mount Desert Island in Maine. The scenic Bubbles( those small mountain tops), as seen here from Jordan pond, are part of the Acadia National Park Loop. Peak fall foliage was supposed to be over, but the autumn colors were still coming in strong, and most of the tourists had already left. The green softwoods mixed elegantly with the red, orange and yellow hardwoods; the water is much too cool to swim in except for the hardiest, and beautiful skies are forever changing and adding more to this already most wondrous landscape. Do make Fall part of your future plans when visiting Maine and try to remember to bring some warm clothes so that you can experience the beauty that many visitors unintentionally seem to leave behind. Oh! Come on Barbie. Florida certainly has its charms-college there+ several years designing-Lots of exquisite beauty in the right places, Punta Gorda included.
