Alternative Medicine is Maine Artist Mike breau�s colorful digital artwork of indica sativa hybrid bud with leaves from a specific marijuana plant he captured from a unique strain used in medical marijuana.
Mike�s artworks have been decorating the former medical facility of Canna Care Docs in Auburn and Augusta Maine, and are presently residing and rotating at Canna Care Docs in their newest expanded location at the corner of Stanley rd.(Rte. 135) and Rte. 202 in Winthrop,Maine
As an alternative medicine used by itself, or in conjunction with other alternative medicines, marijuana is finding a great following as relief from backaches, epilepsy, muscle pain, anxiety, cancer, PTSD, etc.
Since so many states have begun to legalize marijuana for medicinal use, it is more readily finding its way into main stream America for recreational use as well. It was recently approved for recreational use here in Maine. On a federal level, the U.S. Government lags in its full support until further testing proves itself; or, more likely, they find a way of taxing and controlling its everyday use to more adequately suit Big Pharma, or larger corporate enterprise. It should be increasingly interesting to research how the most prominent effects of Maine�s, Colorado�s and California�s unique branding will influence upcoming strains created under uniquely different grow climates and techniques.
Mike�s extended tenure of Artist of the month January remains through February and beyond, 2017 and new works will be rotated in every 2 weeks.
