This lovely Sparrow,a small bird species common in Maine and throughout New England often visits our back yard in Peru Maine. He looked long and steady that peculiar winter morning never moving from this pose as if he was watching out for a small Hawk,hence the title "Hawk Watch". This capture would make a wonderful greeting card reminding us to be ever vigilant and observant.
