Description
Thhe Lovejoy Covered Bridge traverses the Ellis River in Andover, a quaint friendly town in the western foothills of Maine. Built in 1867, it is the shortest covered bridge in Maine . A small campground nestles nearby, and the river is still a good old swimming and picnicking spot. People pick fiddle heads along the river as well as enjoy canoeing and kayaking. It is always a pleasant little place to visit. Copyright 2014 Michael D.Breau
