This is a digital landscape painting by Maine artist Mike Breau of the raging Angroscoggin River at Rumford Falls, Maine and the hydroelectric dam off of U.S. Rte 2 from the Rumford information center at 6 Bridge Street. Cumulous clouds lay low in the sky above and the colors were added to reflect the intensity of this particular beautiful spring day. Rumford Falls, in Oxford County, has a beautiful rest area that invites many guests from places far and wide. It is the second longest falls East of the Mississippi and is sure to add lasting memories to everyone that visits in their quests to explore what Maine, also known as Vacationland, has to offer.
