Native citizens and visitors are often seen strolling about and seeking the aftereffects of low tide. Beyond just canoeing and casting a fishing line, walking along the bar and shoreline often offers visitors to the region little souvenirs of their stay, anything from sea glass to seashells; sometimes, even starfish.
