The Great White-Black and White is gorgeous capture of a majestic solitary great white birch tree with the trunk rising upward toward the sky. Maine is one of the New England states where they are common and while we have all heard the early familiar stories relating to the art of canoe making by the early American Indians, it has had a profound impact as a great source of hardwood for furniture making; and more recently, as the latest new flavor entry for the ever growing syrup industry.
